Our Experience and Network
We are the pioneer in the wholesale microfinance in Tanzania since 1999. We have experience of more than eight years in offering financial services as a core activity, to mainly, Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS), financial NGOs, Community Banks (CBs) and other similar setups. Likewise, we have been providing a wider range of non-financial services to these institutions, i.e. capacity building support - development of internal systems and tools for good governance and management of their operations, basic entrepreneurial skills and financial education programmes, etc through training and onsite advisory services to enable them better-serve their targeted clienteles.
We are working with more than 450 such institutions throughout Tanzania, covering all regions, in 119 districts – both Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. This is the largest microfinance network in the country – giving us an edge in terms of specific local information and knowledge on microfinance and enterprise development throughout the country.
