- The insured can have the type of funeral they want in case of death: A member decides the amount of money they want for the funeral.

(Policyholder pays annual premium of only 0.95% of the amount of funeral benefit he/she and/or spouse and/or children wishes to receive as funeral benefit in the event of death) - Prompt payment of compensation: In the event of death, the family receives prompt payment from the MFI that is refunded by the insurer within 48 hours after submitting requisite claim documents.
- Easy of submission of claim: Documents for validating claim to insurer may be either a burial permit, certification/affidavit from a local area leader or police report (for accidents).
- Covers death out of any cause.
- No exclusion for HIV/AIDS related illness
